At Starfish Judicial, we pride ourselves on having a team of experienced researchers (per diem) who understand the complexities of the legal system. Our vision was born from the contemplated and futuristic use of Artificial intelligence in courts to adjudicate early dispositive motions.
Founded in 2025, Starfish Judicial is currently involved in AI technology research and development focused on AI use to adjudicate motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgement (the Jonga System). It is based on the founder, Dr. Kissinger N. Sibanda's vision that there is room for AI adjudication for motions to dismiss and summary judgment without human judges. And his book entitled, " Impartial: AI Technology for Courtrooms."
Ken Sibanda, SJD, is a legal scholar and lawyer by training. He holds a Doctorate in Law (SJD) ( PHD equivalent), from Suffolk School of Law, an LL.M from Temple University, a second LL.M from California Western, and a first law degree, from the University of London (with Honors). Sibanda has also published the noted science fiction novel - The Return to Gibraltar, in 2011.
Ken Sibanda's PhD Thesis, Jonga, deals with procedural fairness. He also tutors U.S. JD law students in Civil Procedure, Evidence, Constitutional Law and Space Law.
Starfish Judicial is looking to hire researchers with backgrounds in electrical engineering and biology. Must have a PhD. Please send resume to CEO, at KSibanda@starfishjudicial.com.
